In 2001, people helped to build a shrine led by Mr. Suwatchai Eakachaisiri, Chairman of the board of Eakachaisiri Co., Ltd. He started a project by giving some land around Rung Hill for a shrine with over totally 8 million baht expenses and the shrine was opened on 19th May, 2001.
The architecture of this shrine is in Chinese style and in the main room; it contains many Buddha images which are installed here.Ceremony / traditions
For the main activity of people at Sam Se Joo Hud Shrine is to pray in Thai-Chinese version and meditation from 08.00 p.m.-09.00 p.m. On Thursday, there is a dharma teaching by using the psychic of To Sae. And people can talk or ask about problems. Moreover, there are many activities which join with other shrines such as Vegetarian Festival, etc.
Belief
Sam Se Joo Hud Shrine is Bodhisattva shrine so that it emphasizes to pray, meditation for good luck to everybody joining in.
