Welcome back, friends & neighbors, into Sri Panwa's busy world. It has been a few months since we last spoke and we have much to share. There are the obvious events to speak about; such as hotel updates and villa sales… as well as a few visits that even surprised us!
Our residential villas are going fast, we have sold 8 more. The villas ranging from one bedroom to five bedrooms have now vanished from the market. We now have new neighbors from South Africa, France, England & Thailand. Welcome to Sri Panwa! We're sure you will enjoy the view from the top and the top of life here.

Our “Dream Maker”, Khun Songkran, just recently completed a month long journey through monk hood. He entered his monk hood on the 3rd of June, the entering was made at Wat Cholaprathan Yuwaraj Rangsarit. The Abbot who is a high rank monk, Than Panya Nandha Bhikkhu aged 94, was so kind to preside over the ceremony. Phra Thanissaro (Khun Songkran's monk name) took only one meal a day and spent most of his time meditating in a peaceful forest premise of the monastery in upcountry. In Thai beliefs, to enter a monk hood once in your lifetime is the optimum merit for a man. All close relatives and friends who attend the entering ceremony would also be blessed because of this good intention and good deed. His cup has been fulfilled and his battery had been charged full. Welcome back, Sir!

We had truly private royal visits of the HRH Maha Chakri Sirindhorn and Crown Prince Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuk in April and June over to Baba dining lounge for a very relaxing dinner. They were two very casual evenings where everybody was able to indulge in Baba's cuisine. The team was so impressed by the graciousness bestowed by these Royal Visits.

It seemed as if the tables from the royal visits had just been cleared when Elsa & Anders Stendebakken and 30 Swedes friends arrived to celebrate their wedding. It was Sri Panwa's first wedding as well as the couple! This was a three-day party, began with the BBQ pool party at our Beach Pool, which went well into the evening. The second day followed with the wedding celebration on our private beach and a five-course wedding dinner at Baba.The third day was the coolest; we whisked about 25 of the guests over to Lone Island by long tail boat. There, our Baba Mobile unit prepared a Beach BBQ on this private island for the day. The dress code was super casual and everyone, including Team Baba, was in their bathing suits. The guests swam, ate and were treated to complimentary masseuses provided by Sri Panwa's Sai Spa. That wrapped up a truly memorable celebration, which we look forward to hosting many more of these intimate events in the future.

Sri panwa has seen its fair share of PR in the last few months. All the photographers that were able to shoot at Sri Panwa felt that our view was one of a kind. We have been host to numerous periodicals including; Sawasdee (Thai Int'l inflight magazine), Honeymoon&Travel, Anywhere, Demand, Boss, Lifestyle+Travel, Kinnaree, Tropical, Apartment Living, Kee Club, Room, Elite, Praew, PloyGamPetch, The Nation, Bangkok Post, Wallpaper, Woman Plus, Image and lastly the CNNTraveller magazine. So if you haven't heard of us yet, we will continue to be pasted across these periodicals.
