Khun Montawee Hongyok Coordination Manager of Anupas Bhirom Resort

The young manager with master degree in MBA from the States, Khun Montawee Hongyok, is also the youngest son of Khun Montree Hongyok.

"I graduated high school at Phuket Wittayalai School and achieve bachelor degree in engineering (English program) at Thammasat University. I went on to acquired two master degrees in water resource and environment engineering and MBA majoring in information system management from America".

" When I came back to Phuket, my family has started an estate project called 'Anuphas Bhirom Resort' which build houses with starting price of thirty million bath upon 88 rais of land near Phuket Country Club Golf Course. The houses are built in resort style and are close to Phuket's major infrastructures. I realized that the project suited me perfectly for my field of studies was right on the money such as initial environment analysis or contact provincial offices for various grants. I have to do my best because I have the reputation of my great-grandfather (Luang Anuphas) to maintain".

Though having well known surname and being called a ‘Hi-So’ but his life is that of average Joe. What reflects his true personality is well behaved character.

"I'm not a 'Hi-So'. I'm just an ordinary man who lived a simple life. It's just that I happened to have a big family and the members are working in various fields. In the evening, my family would gather for dinner and various activities and the older people would show me how to behave properly. I don't want to say that I'm from the upper crust, it's just that I'm fortunate to have good role models living with me"

Could you please tell us about you life abroad?

"I stayed with my brother who lived in Kansas city , Missouri . The people were very nice, they said hi to me even without knowing who I was. The town has few Thais and I was the only one in my faculty. I had a chance to work for the university as a graduate assistant in my second year. While I worked there I realized that, as an Asian, we have as much potential as westerners. They're just better in presentation and they are not as timid as us so they appear to be confident but we matched them when it comes to tests and exams. Therefore I applied western presentation to Thai customs because Thais don't like giving excessive opinions but they do respect other people's opinions".

Furthermore, Khun Tommy gave us an insight on his job. "Nowadays, more and more foreigners are starting estate projects for hi-end customers so the business is very competitive. I have to do research on customers' demands and raise my standard to international level. Still, I'm very confident about the project's location which is the c enter of many facilities such as school, hospital, Patong beach, the town center, shopping malls etc. plus views of the golf course and lagoon. For all this, I'm very confident about my first career yet it's still very challenging".

He’s very energetic and sure to have a bright future ahead.
