Fish World, beautiful fish shop providing fish feeding equipment and medicine, is managed by Khun Chaiyasit Nammaneewong or Khun Top. Khun Top told us that his father run a fish feeding business since Khun Top was young and this business has run over 10 years. When Khun Top graduated, he succeeded his father’s purpose by opening Fish World shop which sold beautiful fish, fish feeding equipment, medicine, aquarium cleaning service, aquarium construction, aquarium filter, aquarium decoration and aquarium made to order as clients’ requirements.

Khun Top told us that feeding fish made us relaxed and happy. Someone feeds fish for fortune and prestige. For example some people believe that feeding 9 goldfish; 1 black color and others colorful fish will have a good luck for money or feeding dragon fish is believed to support prestige. For Phuket market, cross breed, goldfish, carp including other imported fancy species are very popular as well. For amateurs who start to feed fish, Khun Top suggested to feed fresh-water fish like bream because it was easy to feed and not rickety.

For any obstacle in working, Khun top said that the main problem was the diseased fish during winter time approximately November and December. The fish would be easily infected. We had to vary water.

Khun Top’s principle in work is that not choosing in practice to clients. “Whether customers are Thai or foreigners, the standard of price and service is the same and we are always honest to all clients for example if our fish are diseased, we will not sell them”. Khun Top added.

Lastly, Khun Top would like to express that fish feeder and anyone who prefers to feed fish should have enough time to take care of them and change water once a week or at least twice a month as well as give them food in a fit quantity.
