“We could see that there was a very big hole in the way houses were being wired in Phuket at that time. When you’re building a house, you have a unique opportunity to run wires through the walls for all sorts of options whether you use them now or at any time in the future. Once that hole is poured full of concrete, you can never have this opportunity again.”

Vantage |
AVC is Thailand’s authorized dealer for Vantage www.vantagecontrols.com. Vantage for the last 20 years has led the industry in Lighting Control and Automation and has its systems in some of the most exclusive houses around the world.
“We chose to represent Vantage as opposed to any other brand, because it has a 5 year warranty and the quality as well as the style and choices available really do offer the best value for the money.”
“When it comes to something as important as a home, and knowing how important it is to have that home work every day, it really wasn’t worth considering the cheaper systems. If people really are on a budget, the best alternative is to reevaluate how that house is wired and make the best of traditional switches. Owners or Developers who take that little bit of extra effort to try and understand, and then commit to structured wiring are really winning when it comes to reselling these properties in the future

“Selling the product is just a small part of a successful smart home. If you don’t have the experience to be able to engineer, install and maintain the system, then you are wasting the customer’s time and more importantly money. This is a small island and it doesn’t take long for word to get around if you don’t have those skill sets. We have seen a few competing companies come and go since we began, but the cream always rises to the top and we take faith in that.
Some of the projects that we have completed or are working on range from whole developments such as The Residence, Baan Yamu, Sai Taan and Naissance Villas, through to custom houses at: Ayara, Baan Thai Cherng Lay, Cape Sol, Cape Yamu, Jomchang, Surin Hill, Paradise Heights, Samsara, and Surin Heights. AVC also has projects in Samui that include Keylong, Solymar Beach, Tassana Pra, and Baan Kineree.
The future for AVC is a busy one “We put past plans on hold after working to raise money and construct homes for almost two hundred people who were displaced by the Tsunami back in 2005. So we are really getting back up to speed after that. Phuket’s property construction market continues to grow at a steady rate so for us, it’s an opportunity to wire these houses so they are ready to handle the demands of the 21st Century.
