The R-Sa pa-nong-lien Project

IN AID OF AIDS, “R-Sa pa-nong-lIen,” A VOLUNTEER PROJECT BY PRINCE OF SONGKLA UNIVERITY, PHUKET

By The Rural Development Club (R-SA Club). Prince of Songkla University , Phuket Campus (PSU, Phuket). The main objection is to help children at Life Home Project Foundation, Koh Sirey, Phuket.

“ R-Sa pa-nong-lIen ” project was created by 1 full day at the “Life Home Project Foundation” and “Span Ruam 1 Community” These activity finished on 28 th July 2007, On the morning, 10:00 AM Khun Pennapa Wattimanop (Project Manager of Life Home Project Foundation ) was responsible for opened the ceremony, after that Mr.Mith Singsajjakul the representative of Siri Guru Singh Sabha (Thai Sikhism association, Phuket) donated money 5,000 Baht and Miss Sirithip Pimkaew the leader of The Rural Development Club (PSU,Phuket) donated money 1,150 Baht.

At last, group of teacher from Prince of Songkla University, Phuket Campus (PSU) were the representative to give donatives that are donated by many people in Phuket to children. When finished the opening ceremony, there were special performances from children of Life Home Project Foundation and follow by the shows from the members of The Rural Development Club. Moreover, there were many funny activities such as games, entertainment that the members of Rural Development Club and children join together.

At lunch time, everybody there had lunch together. On the afternoon we guided the children as the field-trip to Phuket town and we went to Sapan Ruam 1 Community in ordered to take another part of donatives to distribute them to children in this community that almost of children here are poor. Even though, the weather was very hot that day but the atmosphere in the activity was very fun so no one think about the weather outside. There were full sounds of happiness of children in the community that let all of us really appreciated in smile and happiness of children there.

The Rural Development Club hoped that Thai society will have more interest about these children who are poor and less opportunity than general children. Moreover, children this day is the importance keys to develop and make the progress on our country in the future. Finally, we really appreciate to thank you for all kind-hearted people who donated things through our project. Thank you for Prince of Songkla University, Phuket Campus (PSU, Phuket), Thaihua School , Darasmuth School , Phuket Wittayalai School , Siri Guru Singh Sabha (Thai Sikhism association, Phuket) and Life Home Project Foundation that support “ R-Sa pa-nong-lIen ” project to be perfectly success.
