Phuket Red Cross Society

On June 29, 2006 ago at Central Festival Phuket, Mr. Pongsak Playwet, Vice Provincial Government, was the president of opening ceremony which concerned about Thai Red Cross Society Musuem’s Exhibition. This exhibition was held as Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, Vice Chairman of Thai Red Cross Society, orders. The reason of holding exhibition was honor the Queen Sirikit, Chairman of Thai Red Cross Society. The exhibition was presented in life museum style like Switzerland Red Cross Society.

Mr. Pongsak said that, the held exhibition showed background and duties of Thai Red Cross Society. The museum of Thai Red Cross Society, built as Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn need, could give people and students knowledge more and more.

Mrs. Nawarat Tatthasima, Vice Chairman of Phuket Red Cross Society, said that the held exhibition was one of the activities of Thai Red Cross Society. This exhibition was held around 12 sections. Phuket was representative of 11th section which consisted of Phang-nga, Krabi, Ranong, Nakornsrithammarat, Suratthanee, Chumporn and Phuket. After held exhibition at Phuket finished, the rest provinces would continue to hold it.

She added this exhibition showed Thai Red Cross Society’s information which had 7 parts; establish information, educational integration, medical, Darunbunkasem’s maintenance, making a benefit for people. Moreover, there was check people’s healthy by Wachira Phuket Hospital, including “ Andaman Sun” performance of Satree Phuket School.

Visit this exhibition at Central Festival Phuket, from today – July 1, 2006, during 11 a.m. - 6 p.m.
