| Phuket Provincial Administration was chosen to compete in the final round of Annually Supreme Provincial Administration Contest. The winner of this competition would get the prize for 5 millions and 400 thousands Baht. The chairman of Phuket Provincial Administration said that we intended to develop Phuket to be” master local” and “good city good life”.
On June 27, 2006 at 9 a.m. ago, Mr. Udorn Aphichatboot, Office of Minister’s Vice-Deputy Chief, was one of the committee of the contest visited Mr. Udomsak Uswarangkura, Phuket Provincial Government, to acknowledge the administrative information of Phuket Provincial Administration. The committee was welcomed by Mrs. Unchalee Wanit Thepphaboot, Chairman of Phuket Provincial Administration. The reason of this competition was potential advance of provincial administration.
There were 14 provincial administrations that were chosen to compete in the final round. Administrate organization by without corruption and follow the government’s policy were criterion of this contest. The competition would be determined on July 9, 2006.
Mrs. Unchalee said that we improved working procession of all staff to develop our province, including well-being of Phuket people. We wanted Phuket to become “Master Local” and “Good City Good Life”.
We intended to develop education, travel, quality of life, infrastructure, information technology, resource and environment conservation and provincial administration and development.
For education, she added we expected all schools at Phuket were developed to become standard school. The slogan of educational development was “Education Give Better Life and Country”. Now, Kathu Vitthaya School, Muang Phuket School and Taladnue School, the navigated school of this project, were already developed to become standard school. Our organization was administrated without corruption. We gave people all information and they could examine our working.
