| Mr. Worapot Ratthasrima, Vice Provincial Government, was the president of opening ceremony of training about career guidance project on June 23, 2006, at ST Hotel, at 8.30 a.m. The training was attended by Mr. Boonchok Maneechot, Director of Phuket Employment Office, lecturers from Phuket Employment Office and trainees from educational institutes.
Mr. Boonchok said that nowadays, our government cared for teenager so much because they were important power in developing our country. Therefore, the government gave them the career knowledge to prepare themselves for working in the future.
However, Department of Employment did not have enough lecturers to give students career knowledge; we had to make a network for career guidance. We had to join with Ministry of Education, Ministry of Commerce, Ministry of Social Development and Human Security, Ministry of Agriculture and Co-Operatives, Ministry of Industry, Guidance Association of Thailand, academics and official and private organizations to give students career advice. According to this reason, we had to hold the network project of career guidance. We held the career guidance centre in the school to find the job on summer for students; moreover, in order to give them working experience.
