| Mr. Niran Kanlayanamit, Vice Provincial Government, was the president of the second seminar which was held to listen to Phuket people’s opinions about the possibility of building small sky train project on Phuket and the way to the airport. There were the representatives of this project’s consulting company; Dr.Thawatchai Laosirihongthong, director of Transportation & Traffic Research and Development Centre of King Mongkut's University of Technology Thonburi, Mr. Krai Tungsa-nga, Executive Director of Pyramid Development International Corporation Co., Ltd. and Mr. Suwit Wannapradit, Managing Director of Ecosystem Engineering Consultant Co., Ltd. proposed the result of studying. The seminar was attended by official and private organizations, common people, and the related person to listen and offer the opinion on June 22, at Royal Phuket City, Muang, Phuket, at 1 p.m.
Mr. Krai, Executive Director of Pyramid Development International Corporation Co., Ltd., said that Phuket made a research the possibility of building small sky train project on Phuket and the way to the airport. There were 3 consulting companies which were employed to study this project such as Pyramid Development International Corporation Co., Ltd., Ecosystem Engineering Consultant Co., Ltd., and Transportation & Traffic Research and Development Centre of King Mongkut's University of Technology Thonburi. The project was set to solve the traffic jam and comfort in people’s transportation. Before constructing this project, we had to listen to Phuket people’s opinions. Therefore, we held the seminar to ask people advices. The first seminar was held on june 20, 2006 ago. Now, we got the best conclusion from the second seminar which was set on June 22. We received the way of transportation, design, engineering, budget and environment advices. The opinion of many people would be used in improving the study of the project.
