| His Majesty King Carl XVI Gustaf and His Majesty Queen Silvia of Sweden and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck of Bhutan, our King’s royal visitors would travel Phuket during June11-14 after finishing royal celebration.
The royalty of Sweden would arrive in Phuket at the afternoon of June 14. They would be welcomed by Mr. Udomsak Uswarangkura, Phuket Provincial Government and Phuket officials and M.L. Treethotsathep Thawakul, owner of Trisara Hotel.
Mr. Udomsak said that Phuket had to give them excellent welcome and total safety; though they want to travel privately. Now, I assigned all polishes and soldiers to take care and guard them. I heard that they would travel by yacht to play aquatic sport on June 15 at Boat Lagoon Harbor. I expected they would go to Ban Namkem, Takuapa, Phang-nga to see the result of their project which they held on 2 year ago to help Tsunami suffers.
I also heard that on June 19 would be their 30th wedding anniversary. Therefore, we would ask a permission to give them blessing. They would leave Phuket at June 20. Then, they would see our King again to farewell and come back home at the midnight of the day.
His Royal Highness Crown Prince Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck of Bhutan would arrive in Phuket on June 16. The Royal Highness Crown Prince would stay at Amanburi Resort, located on Cherng Talay, Talang.
I heard that he preferred challenged sport. He wanted to play a parceling. We provided Patong for him to play this sport. However, if there were big wave and storm on that day, we would take him to Koh Khai instead of here.
He also liked archery very much. Since we had no archery course, we recommended him to play shooting. Besides sport, they interested in the activity for developing teenager. He would depart here on June 18 at 6.55 p.m.
