| Mr. Udomsak Uswarangkura, Phuket Provincial Government, said that the project of growing the tree for celebration in the year of King's 60th year on the throne was held to think of royal grace of him. Since our King was interested in resource and environment problem, he had a lot of resource and environment projects. All project of him could make a benefit for all people. Therefore, Phuket people come together to recover many mangrove forest for showing our loyalty to him and following his idea.
He added nowadays, the most forest of Phuket was destroyed by traveling development and other activities. Phuket of ecosystem was changed very much because of extravagant using resource, water and air pollutions. Therefore all of us had to join together to maintain our forest especially local people and teenager.
Mr. Ong-Art Chanachanmongkol, Director of the Office of Phuket Resource and Environment, added besides celebration in the year of King's 60th year on the throne, the activity was held to worship his royal grace to all people. Our King was very genius. He could solve many problems in this country. Moreover, he was also idol of all officials in helping all people including making common sense in maintaining environment. This activity covered the area for 14 Rai. The 960 trees that were used to grow were Pterocarpus, Lagerstroemia and Minusops.
