| Mr. Niran Kanlayanamit, Vice Provincial Government, was the president of meeting about solving water pollution project at Ta Chin Canal on May 25, at Meeting Room of Phuket Operation Centre, City Hall, at 9 a.m.
Mr. Niran said that the meeting was held to inform the result of solving the water pollution at Ta Chin Canal. On May 1 ago, we ever held the meeting about the problem. The committee agreed that the problem had to be solved by setting campaign for keeping canal clean to celebrate for King's 60th year on the throne. The activity would set on June 1, at Sapanpla Organization, Ratsada, Muang, Phuket at 9.30 a.m.
Now, the committee already assigned related organizations to invite all people at Ta Chin Canal and neighboring area for participating in the activity. Over 100 fishing Boats would attend the cleaning canal activity also. Many staffs would prepare several black bags and hand-nets for using in keeping rubbishes.
The activity would make people have common sense in keeping the canal clean. Moreover, it made them stop throwing many trashes in the canal.
